He was predeceased by: his parents, Buck Powers and Josephine Reed Powers; his son Randall Derrick Powers; and his siblings, Roger Powers, Paul Powers, Jerry Powers, Ben Daniels, Linda Powers and Nancy Tackett.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Deloris Caudill; his children, Michael Darrin Powers (Amanda) of Riceville, KY, Melissa Jaynes of Leander, KY and Amy Watkins (Gary) of Denver, KY; and his siblings, Bob Daniels of River, KY and Betty Hatcher. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
