He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Metts Popp and Charles Lee Popp of Georgetown. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Scott Popp; his children, Steven Popp (Cara), Aaron Popp (Julie), Matthew Popp (Lauren), Melanie Ward (John) and Faith Dawson (Conner); his grandchildren, Tyler Popp (Alyssa), Cam Popp, Nox Popp, Davis Popp, Savannah Popp, Lindsey Popp, Averie Popp, Keara Ward, Kennedy Ward, Kaycie Ward, Halle Kate and Caroline Popp; and his sisters, Melanie Morrison and Michele Franchino. He is also survived by many other family members and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are recommended to "Cedar Grove Baptist Church Mission Fund" to help continue one of Steve's greatest joys - helping others.
