He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Kilburn and Zella Woods Kilburn; his wife Alpha Jean Bloomer Kilburn; his siblings, Bill Kilburn, Nancy Kilburn and Mae Hurt; his in-laws, Jack and Polly Bloomer; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Bloomer and Pat Saylor.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Rice (Shawn) of Stanford; his siblings, Barbara Melton of Somerset, Freda Joseph of Wooten, Lula Clark of Hyden, Kathy Madden of Wooten, Vickie Barger of Wooten, Fred Kilburn of Wooten and Harrison Kilburn, Jr. (family: Taylin Rice) of Hyden; his brother-in-law Freddie Saylor of Harlan; and his caregiver Sierra Downey.
