He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Cook and Mary Wilson Hale Cook; his son Terry Cook; and his siblings, Lester Cook, Donald Cook, Margaret Brown, Helen Reed and Dorothy Atwood.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Robbins Cook; his children, Danny Cook, Connie Tankersley and Scottie Cook (Lesa); and his grandchildren, Shane Cook, Amy Cook, Kaci Tankersley, Chris Cook, Jeremy Cook and Marissa Cook. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
