He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Brummett and Grace Brummett of Crab Orchard; his brother Charles Brummett; his grandson Jason Dean Brummett; and his close friend Bobbie Rice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Kidd (Ricky) of Danville and Jamie Smith (Todd) of Stanford, Kentucky; and his brother Donnie Brummett of Richmond. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
