With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene C. Manning of Stanford, Kentucky, born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Delmar Manning and Lula Singleton Manning. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Shelton Manning of Stanford; and his siblings, John H. (Pam Manning) of Florida, Betty Helton, Netta Brock and Fannie Brock.

Pallbearers Include: Brian Harris, Danie Rice, Lloyd Rice, Henry Smith, Jr. Rice, Mike Singleton, Wayne Greer, and Gary Jenkins, In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund.
