She was predeceased by: her parents, Belford Amburgey and Virginia Watkins Richey; her husband David Lee Smith; her stepson David Lee Smith, Jr.; her son Steve Hensley; and her granddaughter Mandy Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Lynn and Jerry Robert "Buddy" Hensley (Janet); her sisters, Donna Trone and Brenda White; her daughter Beverly Thornsberry (Heath) of Stanford; and her granddaughter Cayley Thornsberry of Stanford. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
