He was predeceased by: his parents, George Denny Johnson and Artie Wall Johnson; his daughter Dr. Teresa Ann Johnson; and his siblings, Louada Smith, Maxine Delk, Elvis Durham, Terrill Durham, Carlis Durham, Della Johnson Durham, Chelsea Durham, Mary Johnson Woods, Stella Johnson Hamilton, Mack Johnson, Ervin Johnson, Elvin Durham, Earl Durham and Curtis Durham.
He is survived by: his wife Hartese Hatter Johnson; his daughter Tamara Dee Johnson (Berkley Moore) of Stanford; his grandchildren, Eric Henderson Albritton of Columbia, SC and Madison Roxanne White of Stanford; and his sister Myrtle Duttera of Newark, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
