James Gutenson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gutenson (Stanford, Kentucky), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gutenson and Eva Stickler Gutenson. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Gutenson; his children, Arthur Alexander Gutenson and Maggie Joe Gutenson; his siblings, Mark Gutenson (Tracy) and Vickie Rice (Danie); his granddaughter Elsie Wolfe Gutenson; and his pets, Wiley Mr, Crowley and Khaleesi Blue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Sylvester Church Cemetery (100 KY-1948, Waynesburg, KY 40489).
