We bid farewell to Joanna Cooper of Stanford, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2025 at the age of 57. Joanna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Peters and Jane Peters (Blevins); her significant other Richard Asberry; her daughters, Mikaila Cooper (Antonio) and Amber Cooper; her siblings, Shannan Hooker, Lisa Garriques (Rick) and Darrin Peters (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Brantley Snow, Joseph Cooper, Kashton Thompson, Serenity Hurt and Clara Faye Paige.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
