With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lillie Richards of Stanford, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on June 15, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gaines and Oneida Bruce Johnson Mimms; her former husband James Franklin Atkins; her husband Jessie Arnold Richards; her daughter Jacki Lynn Atkins; her siblings, Ellen Mimms Lynn, Willine Reynolds, Elizabeth Helton and Doris Jean Fletcher; and her grandchildren, Chad Atkins and Fallon Hale.
She is survived by: her children, James T. Atkins (Jean) of Garrard County, KY, Gladys Darlene Martin (Lanny) of Deer Park and Janice Elaine Richards (Larry Walls) of Danville, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Buffalo Springs Cemetery (630 KY-78, Stanford, KY 40484).
