In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Michael leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Dustin Keith Varvel of Stanford and Amanda Hittle Varvel; his siblings, Dustin Keith Aidian Varvel and Callie Mae Varvel; and his grandparents, Keith Edward Varvel, Theresa Coleman Carrier of Stanford, Stephanie Lynn and James Lynn, Jr. of Casey County.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
