With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Long of Stanford, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Long to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Long and Norma Baker Long; his daughter Cynthia Lynne Long; his siblings, Brenda Sue Taylor, Clark Long, Johnny Long and David Long; and his siblings-in-law, Denton Taylor and Betty Jo Long.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Cochran Long; his nieces, Kala Cartmill and Karmin Davis; his great-nephews, Jackson Davis and Mason Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Vena Long and Phyllis Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
