He is survived by: his mother Wanda Kidwell Hawley of Crab Orchard; his wife Tammy; his children, Dexter Loel Herring of Stanford, Kentucky, Richard Travis Wayne Herring (Courtney Slusher) of Stanford, Kentucky and Katlynn Rose Herring of Stanford; and his siblings, James Herring of Somerset, Harold Herring of Lancaster, Kentucky, JoAnn Herring (Shavon Akins) of Stanford, Jenny Burkhart (Steve) of Lancaster and Shawna Green of Danville, Kentucky. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fox & Friend Funeral Home (312 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
