He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Maples Vaughn of Stanford; his children, Denise Louise Vaughn (Richard Gardner), Vickey Terese Vaughn and Tina Michele Vaughn (Jay Dee Tackett); his stepson Steven Burnett Watson (Donnett); his brother Roy Thomas Vaughn (Barbara Willoughby); his grandchildren, Tabetha Markell, Sammijo Bussell, Christine Coleman, Cassy Shaw, Danelle Dennis and Andrew Hensley; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Cooper (Tiffany), Dustin Watson and Stephanie Watson; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Layla, Madelynn, Caden, Emma, Sara, Taylor, Andrew, Austin of Trey, CJ, Lena, Kenzie and Bohdie; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alyssa, Bentley, Gracie and Lincoln; and his great great grandchild Gracelynn.
