With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rose Scharbrough of Stanford, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Yocum and Lizzie Reynolds Yocum; her husband Charles Scharbrough; her sons, Rodney and G. J. Scharbrough; and her siblings, Bill Yocum, Tommy Yocum, Sr., Jesse Yocum, Ellis Yocum, Marion Yocum and Elvena Yocum.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Humphrey (Alberta) of Moreland, KY, James Humphrey (Connie) of Moreland, KY, Larry Humphrey (Tammy) of Russel Springs, KY, Lonnie Scharbrough of Lawrenceburg, KY, Preston Scharbrough of Stanford and Debbie Scharbrough of Stanford; her grandchildren, Leona, Lisa, Jalee, Luke, Marlene, Ashlee, Charles, Casey, Tim, Sarah, Matthew, Daisy and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Ricky, Jr., Alexandria, Jesse, Michaela, McKenna, Maverick J., Marleigh, Chloe, Trenton, Myla, Roman, Wesley, Dakota, Isaiah, McKenzee and Tazmine; and her great great grandchildren, Aubree, Emmalyn, Sophie, Maverick and Kayden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
