She was predeceased by : her husband Vernon C. Elam; her parents, Harvey Fricke and Mae Blair Fricke; her children, Mark Allen Elam and Fredricka "Freddie" Deann Elam; and her brothers, Edward Fricke and Donald Fricke.
She is survived by : her daughter Dottie Pelfrey (Greg) of Clay City; her siblings, Leroy Fricke (Darla) of North Dakota and Ida Campbell of Stanton; and her grandchildren, Greg Pelfrey (Jessica), Devon Pelfrey (Ashley), Kristan Elam, Nicholas Elam, Joshua Elam and Matthew Elam (Jessica).
