As Donnie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donnie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donnie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Jane Banks (Moore) and John Banks; and his sister Joyce Banks Graybeal. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Haddix Banks; and his siblings, Clyde Banks, Elmer Banks, Rosie Trent, Beulah Carney and Wilma Faye Taulbee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and Numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
