He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahala Herald Smith and Ed Smith; his wife Brenda Smith; and his brother Elvin Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Felicia McAllister (Brian) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Haley McAllister of Lexington and Rylan McAllister of Lexington; his niece Beth Ann Davidson (Bill) of Jackson; and his caregivers, Shannon Buckland, Terri Brooks and Michelle Allen.
