He is survived by: his son Herbert Thomas Derickson, Jr. (Vandetta Landers Derickson); his significant other Wilda Martin Derickson; his daughters, Vera (Larry Patterson) and Vanessa (late Bruce Crowe); his pets, Rebel Rock of Dusty's Delta Dawn and Broken Bones; his son Jamie Derickson (Sandra); his grandchildren, Chris Tipton (Kim), Derick Tipton (Anna Kate), Bobby Jean (Doug Haney), Larry Patterson (Rhonica), Stanley Tipton (Savanna), Rachel Crowe, Landers Crowe (Leslie), Erica (Thad Way), Maria (Jason Bobo), Thomas Derickson and Will Derickson; his great grandchildren, Launa Kaylee (Jordan Wilson), Jackson, Kolby, Conner, Russell, Jaylyn, Dillan, Preston, Landon, Hunter, Harrison, Madelyn, Adalynn, William, Cruz, Blaze, Dakota, Elliott, Ford, Conlee, Foster and Bennett; his brother Henry Shelby Derickson (Bonnie); and his great great grandchildren, Sophia Wilson and Noah Lee Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Church of God (980 E College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hope First Church of God (10272 Hope Means Rd, Hope, KY 40334).
