She was predeceased by : her husband John Dodson Jr.; her parents, Maurice B. Ahern and Carolyn Johnson Ahern; and her brothers, Brennen Ahern and Gary Ahern.

She is survived by : her children, Jacob Stone Dodson (Michelle) and Samantha Jo Dodson-Skinner (Ariq); and her grandchildren, Brody Dodson, Raegan Dodson, Leighannlynn Dodson, John Skinner and Jamari Skinner.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380).
