She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Ulsperger and Marilyn Manning Helton; her stepfather Raymond Helton; and her siblings, Cecil Bud Helton, Raymond Eugene Helton, Bruce Helton, Alene Jackson and Joyce Waveleyne Eby.

She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" King; her daughters, Sarabeth McCoy (Byron), Tracy Bailey (Donnie) and Glenda Covey; and her siblings, David Helton (Debbie), Johnny Helton, Jane Townsend, Deborah Birner, Lori Mofield, Ann Robison and Vickie Lindeman (Dave). She is also survived by eight grandchildren & eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
