He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Earl Wells and Deloris White Wells; and his siblings, James Ernest Wells and Shirley Ann Wells. He is survived by: his pets, Cinnamon and Sassy; his wife Norma Lee Rogers Wells; his children, Richard Earl Rogers (Tasha), Ronald Elwood "Ronnie" Wells, Jr. (Sharon), Cassandra "Cassie" Mays (Aaron) and Phyllis Jean Wells; his siblings, Russell Earl Wells (Tippy), Ralph Eugene Wells (Ollie), Royce "Jack" Wells (Connie), O'Donna Gail Wells Day (Rusty) and Brenda Wells Harless; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Rogers, Jordan Taylor Snowden, Braxton Aaron Snowden, Megan Reed, Jaylee Reed and Austin Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hearne Funeral Home (125 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
