He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Slemp and Mamie Pridemore Slemp; his significant other Anna Faye Slemp; and his siblings, Russell Slemp, Bascom Slemp and Joyce Ann Slemp.
He is survived by: his son Eric Slemp (Debbie); his granddaughters, Kayla Hunt (Michael), McKenzie Walling and Irvine; and his siblings, Darryl Slemp (Darlene), Charlie Slemp (Darlene), Stanton, Ishmel Slemp (Ann), Joannie Covey and Virginia Puckett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
