Wanda Orene Catron Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2025, at the age of 93, Wanda Orene Catron (Stanton, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Swango and Lou Ellen Dunn Swango; her son Virgil Benjamin Catron; her grandchildren, April Catron and Stephen Catron; and her siblings, Conley Swango, Emmanuel Swango, WIlliam Swango, Lonnie Swango and Gladys Daughtery.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Catron, Donald Catron (Kathy), David Catron and Athea Watkins (Steve); and her sister Anne Townsend. She is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
