He was predeceased by : his parents, William Joseph Reddix, Sr. and Willa Mae Ginter; his wife Janice Meadows Reddix; and his stepdaughter Glenda Faye Abney. He is survived by : his children, Ricky Edward Reddix (Sonya) of Winchester, Timothy Wayne Reddix of Richmond, Robert Thomas Reddix of Richmond and Vickie Lynn Moore (Terry) of Winchester; and his brother Ronald Dale Reddix of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
