It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Theresa West of Stearns, Kentucky, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 30, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Jones and Mable Jones; and her sister Beverly Hatfield. She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Phillips (Kenneth Phillips III); her grandchildren, Alieah West and Jasper Phillips; her daughter Amber West (Jacob Troxell); her grandchildren, Zoey and Piper Troxell; her children, James West and Teresa Sexton; her grandchildren, Lauren Reagan, Kaitlyn Crabtree and Madison Sexton; her son Jason Bryant (Becky Bryant); her brother Pat Kaaz; and her close friend Phyllis Williams.

Cremation arrangements have been made and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evans Mortuary to help with service costs.
