He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin King and Bernice King (Gibson); his son Tony; and his siblings, Sam King and Doris Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann King; his children, Carl Hooker, Tim King, Tammy, Shonda Saddler, Annette King and Rachel Doughty; his stepchildren, Jackie Hanson, Barbara Snow, Lisa Atkinson, Sherri Dunar, Gail Snow and Anita Snow; and his sister Brenda Lobough. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Knot Funeral Home (140 Cal Hill Spur, Pine Knot, KY 42635). A masonic service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
