It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Clare Weaver of Stearns, Kentucky, who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph B. Galvin and Virginia Reppert Galvin; and her son-in-law Leamon Godsey. She is survived by: her husband Wenard Weaver; her children, Eric Weaver, Douglas Weaver (Lisa), Ricki Godsey, Nikki New (Ronald) and Virginia James (Charles); and her siblings, Ralph Galvin (Twee), Dr. Matthew Galvin (Megan), Peter Galvin (Lucinda), Virginia Galvin, Dr. Antoinette Galvin, Beulah Galvin and Deborah Galvin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hickman - Strunk Funeral Home (156 Main St, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
