He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Ferrell and Daisy Thacker Thacker; and his sisters, Opal Thacker, Sandy Shortridge and Daisy Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Thacker; his sons, Burbon Dwayne Thacker of Steele and Scottie Dean Thacker of Hellier; his siblings, Tom Thacker, Jr. of Pikeville, Zola Thacker of Pompey and Karen Pinion of Hurricane; and his granddaughter Kylie Jo Denise Thacker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel (112 Elkhorn St, Elkhorn City, KY 41522). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
