He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Vickery and Wilma Jeraldine "Jerry" Vickery (Lovett); his siblings, Herbie Woodall and Sheila Woodall; and his grandchildren, Gary Wayne Herbert Vickery and Kyley Vickery.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Vickery (Chitwood) of Whitley City, Kentucky; his children, Gary Wayne Vickery, Jr. of Strunk, Kentucky and Keisha Vickery of Strunk, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Kammie, Dalton Dakota, Bryson, Tyler, Johnathan, Schyler and Zoey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home (48 State Hwy 700, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
