With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margrit Dahmen (Strunk, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margrit left this world on July 22, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wladislaus Grabarek and Pauline Grabarek; her husband Henrick; her close friend Fritz Schmeisser; and her brothers, Edmund, Alfred and Helmut Grabarek.
She is survived by: her daughter Kornelia Dahmen-Delgado of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, John Walker of Johnsburg, IL, Andrew Walker of Whitley City, KY, Elizabeth Mansfield of Oneida, TN, Alice Garland-Jones of Brodhead, KY and Jennifer Garland of Gurnee, IL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roundtop Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
