She was predeceased by: her parents, William Emmitt Ward and Geneveive Verlene Duncan Peak (Ward); the father of her children James "Roy" Richardson; her stepfather Earl T. Peak; her brothers, Gene Morgan, Gary Ward and Larry Ward; her sister-in-law Mary Ward; and her grandparents, John Ward, Liza Ward (Helterbrand), Sylvania Duncan (King) and Sherman Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, James Richardson (Katie) of Circleville, Debbie Crabtree (Paul) of Stearns, Troy Richardson (Loretta) of Winfield and Sherman Richardson (Shonda) of Strunk, Kentucky.; and her grandchildren, Justin Sumner (Omari Chaplin), Telvis Emerson (Jarrod), Jacob Sumner (Laciena), Jeremay Richardson, Angelia Richardson, Megan Richardson, Amber Richardson (Thomas Neal), Johnny Sumner (Dianna), Briana King (Harry), Kira Richardson (Chase Lowe), Ethiam Richardson (Brittany), Sherman "Kyle" Richardson, Sierra Richardson, Lesley Stephens-Taylor, James Stephens (Sarah), Sandi Jo, Lauren Reeser, Jenna Resser, Kaylee Crabtree and Cynthia Crabtree.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pine Knot Funeral Home (140 Cal Hill Spur, Pine Knot, KY 42635). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at the Silerville Cemetery.
