He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Adkins and Dorothy Adkins; and his siblings, Judith Crites, Patricia Hollandsworth, Marilyn Rogers, Bill Adkins and Jerry Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jerri; his sons, Michael Edward (Linda) and Robert Matthew (Melisa); and his brothers, Mike Adkins, Steve Adkins and Tim Adkins. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitsell Funeral Home - Sturgis (609 N Main St, Sturgis, KY 42459). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
