She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Patterson Sr.; her son Johnny Patterson; her grandson Joshua Patterson; and her sisters, Christine Johnson and Helen Bennet.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Patterson Jr. (Yvette), Annette Skidmore (Melvin) and Shane Patterson (Amanda); her siblings, Elizabeth and Victor; and her friend Pat Powell. She is also survived by seventeen grand children, many great grand-children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home (122 N Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
