He is survived by: his wife Sue Sikes Hurt; his children, Terry Hurt of Edmonton, Josie Hurt of Glasgow, Larry Hurt of Summer Shade, Cathy Flowers (Tim) of Glasgow and Bobby Hurt (Tracey) of Edmonton; and his grandchildren, W. P. Hurt of Richmond, Michelle Estes (Jim) of Glasgow, Jennifer Johnson (L. J.) of Florida, Susan Talbot (Abel) of Tennessee, Matthew Wambles Hurt (Olivia) of Persimmon, Matthew Flowers (Elizabeth) of Bowling Green, Casey Stephens (Bryan) of Glasgow and Lane Hurt (Kristie) of Marrowbone.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Beaumont Cemetery.
