We are sad to announce that, on December 5, 2025, at the age of 71, Debra Elizabeth Gerald of Summer Shade, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Burgess and Elease Burgess (England); her husband Jackie Morris Gerald; her parents-in-law, Charles and Inez Gerald; and her siblings-in-law, Alvis, Jimmy Ray Gerald and Janice Spence.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brookie Ross (Joe) of Alvaton and Jacqueline Gerald (Josh Minton); her grandchildren, Dylan Ross of Barbourville, Abby Lombardi (Will) of Lexington, Justin and Jaxon Minton of Glasgow; her sisters, Helen Gerald of Summer Shade, Thelma Smith (Ricky) of Sand Lick, Peggy Rhoten (Mikey) of Tompkinsville and Sandra Burgess (Punkin Turner); her aunt Ella Westbrook of Mississippi; and her siblings-in-law, Nell Gerald and Danny Gerald (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a host of cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church or to the Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department.
