He was predeceased by: his father L. P. Posey; and his daughter Keisha Posey. He is survived by: his mother Joyce M. Stearman Posey of Summersville; his children, Jennifer Mays of Greensburg, Andrew Posey of Elizabethtown and Suede Posey of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Donovan Posey of Green County, Hunter Mays of Green County, Landon Mays of Green County, Peyton Mays of Green County, Ruger Mays of Green County, Cash Allen Posey of Green County, Patrick Brandon Posey of Green County, Conner Jace Posey of Green County and Audrena Faye Posey of Green County; and his siblings, Charles Posey of Summersville, Melanie Cruse of Summersville and Stephanie Posey of Mount Sherman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bloyd-Perkins Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
