With sadness, we share the passing of Rozella Marr McCubbin of Summersville, Kentucky. Rozella, born on March 15, 1935, passed away on August 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Leslie Marr and Maude Frances Milby Marr; her husband Harold Aaron McCubbin; and her daughter Cynthia McCubbin. She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy (Benny Shirley) and Jonie (David Patterson); her grandchildren, Brad (Tracy Shirley), April Shirley, Brian (Jessi Shirley), Billy (Carla Patterson), Lesley (Matt Goodin) and Amanda (Andy Olson); her great grandchildren, Dustin, Andrew, Christian, Hannah, Cody, Tyler, Ryan, Zach, Amber, Ayden, Owen, Blake S., Blake R., Jarrod, Patience, Lexi and Abbie; her great great grandchildren, Preslee, Cayde, Ellie, Sophia, Rosie, Greyson, Oliver, Braelynn, Fletcher, Jonah, Grayson, Axel and Ace; and her sister Marianna Loyall of Louisville. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bloyd-Perkins Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
