Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Douglas Edward Singleton of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 71, on November 13, 2025. He is survived by: his wife Marilou France Singleton; his children, Scott Singleton (Elizabeth) and Alison Meier (Matt); his brothers, Glenn Singleton (Claudia) and Bob Singleton; and his grandchildren, Zeke, Elliot, Penny Lou, Alexis and Calvin.

NKU events...of which there were many, gatherings at our home, the list goes on. In his own profession as a teacher, we know he touched many young lives. In recognition of his dedication to education, we are making a donation to the NKU Scholarship Fund in his memory. There is a special place in Heaven for Doug. Gerry & Peggy”

I ran into him about 7 years ago when I was pregnant with my second son. I was able to choose him for my “champion of learning” teacher in 2008 and give him a medal.
