He was predeceased by: his father Walter; his wife Goldie Hall Keathley; his son Billy Joe Keathley; and his siblings, Troy Keathley, Bufford Keathley, James Elzie Keathley, Elmer Keathley, Palmer Keathley, Phillip Keathley, Gracie Vanhoose, Patricia Keathley, Ivalee Keathley and Virginia Keathley.
He is survived by: his son Shawn Keathley (Selena) of Teaberry, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Destiny Keathley, Taylor Keathley and Jeremiah Keathley (Makayley); his great grandchildren, Eden Keathley, Navie Keathley, Layne Collins and Knox Keathley; his nephew James Waldo Keathley; and his close friend Judy Sizemore.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
