She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hollifield and Ethel Hamilton Hollifield; her grandsons, Allen Hunter and Nicholas Newman; and her brothers, Burnis Hamilton, Randall Hollifield and Otis Hollifield.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Hunter (Danielle) and Jessica Vanover (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Amy Hall (Byron), Allison Albright (Jared), Faith Hunter, Brandon Newman, Savannah Hunter and Destiny Sword; her great grandchildren, Kayden, Bellamy, Jocelyn, Gemma, Rhys and Rhea; her sisters, Jeanette Bentley, Jennifer McKinney and Peggy Hamilton; and her close friend Larry Robinette.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church (77 KY-979, Harold, KY 41660). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
