Kathy Ann Castle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2025, at the age of 76, Kathy Ann Castle of Thealka, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kathy Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kathy Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cline Salyers and Louise Slone. She is survived by: her husband Verlin Castle of Thealka, KY; her son Brett Castle (Shelly) of Van Lear, KY; her brother Cline Salyers Jr. (Mabel) of Winchester, KY; her grandchildren, Aaron Castle (Madison Ison) and Lauryn Castle; and her great grandchildren, Arlo and Lillian.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
