He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Adams and Mertie Belle Maggard Adams; his son-in-law Teddy Lloyd Collins; and his siblings, James Adams, Paul Adams, William Adams, Bobbie Jean Sizemore, Alta Mae Hall and Judy Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marlene Nickels Adams; his daughters, Damaris and Kendra Collins of Thornton; his sisters, Wanda Nickels (Eddie) of Mayking and Hazel Rose (Randy) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Mallory Hensley (Gary) and Kalin Sexton (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Billick, Isaac Sexton and Peter Sexton. He is also survived by dad who worked to provide, a grandfather who took pride in his family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlies name are suggested to Kim's Kennels 2157 Highway 119 North Whitesburg, Kentucky 41858.
