It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Sergent of Thornton, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
