With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lea Barton of Tomahawk, Kentucky, who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Mills and Attie Mollett of Davisport; her husband William H. Barton; her sons, Kenneth L. Barton, William H. "Bill" Barton, Jr. and Daniel R. Barton; her grandchildren, Tamara Litton, Rosa Litton and Phillip Butcher; and her siblings, Francis Runyon, Sandra K. Johnson, Carlos Mills, James Wheeler Mills and Don Mills. She is also survived by 150 grandchildren spanning over grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crum Funeral Home (498 New Rte 3, Inez, KY 41224). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
