He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Morris and Runnell Rhoton York; and his sisters, Mary Childress and Patricia Cathart. He is survived by: his wife Faye York; and his children, Danny Joe Stinson of Tompkinsville, Andrea Stinson of Tompkinsville, Julie White of Tompkinsville, Dylan York of Tompkinsville, Josh York of Tompkinsville and Cheryl Lankford of Tompkinsville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home (2232 Summer Shade Rd, Summer Shade, KY 42166). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to McMurtrey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
