She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosetta Coots, (Creech) and Cyril Thorton Coots, Sr.; her children, Stephanie Ann Miles (Rick), Kimberly Kay Westbrook and Rodney Earl Scott (Lisa Ann); her granddaughter Katie Nichole Dawson; her great grandchildren, Russell Keith Jones and Vaida Page Scott; her siblings, James Terrell "J. T." Coots, Darrell Wayne Coots, Lily Alvin "Allen" Coots, Dorothy Jean Cornett, Dale Edward Coots and Cyril Thorton Coots, Jr.; and her daughter Katie Nichole Dawson.
