Inez Humes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez Humes of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Price and Mamie Ford (Rich); her husbands, Otto Curtis and Robert Humes; and her siblings, Rasmus Ford and Wilma Bledsoe.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Curtis (Donna) of Tompkinsville and Linda Curtis (Ken Lasley) of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Jessa Sheffield (Matt) of Glasgow, Noah Curtis (Shelby) of Lexington, Aaron Lasley (Catie) of Lexington and Kate Gostowski (Jason) of Woodburn; her sister Eva Nell Ford; and her great grandchildren, Austen, Andi Sheffield, Henry Curtis, Ada and Ara Lasley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bartley & Sons Funeral Home (204 Columbia Ave, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at the Monroe County Memorial (529 Capp Harlan Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Monroe County Backpack Program in memory of Mrs. Inez.
