He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Stephens and Pauline Stephens (Williams); his brother Wallace Stephens; and his father-in-law Billy Joe Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Jo Rita Stephens (Anderson); his sons, Jarrett Stephens (Amanda) and Brooks Stephens (Michaela); his grandchildren, Sloan Stephens, Lakelyn and Thad Stephens; his sister Mary Nell McCleod of Lexington; his mother-in-law Joan Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Kerry Anderson (Kim) and Gene Stephens of Glasgow.
